Something About me
My management style started at the dinner table before my feet even touched the floor.
At a table set for 8, I learned to hear everyone (often at the same time). And being from
a big family also meant having to be tough and hold your ground.
Working on both coasts and drawing insights from their cultures, my management approach is both empathetic and rigorous. I'm a tenacious defender of both the creative and the strategy. And if you're on my team, I know what you do because I've done it myself. So hard work never goes unnoticed or unrewarded. I'm not too proud to embrace the cliché of "work hard, play hard".
My philosophy
As a surfer, I approach work and life as you would a wave: spotting the opportunity, selecting the best approach, and channeling your energy into a powerful and impassioned ride. Knowing how and when to adapt to ever-changing conditions is key to this. I love what I do and try to instill that into my coworkers. When people work hard, get results, and get recognized, it's the difference between a routine day and an epic one.
